Advanced Learning Education Services program Standard #1: ALES promotes positive relationships among all children and their support systems, to nurture the individuality of each child.

aLES focuses on primary years for tutoring–the golden years of your child’s education. the Primary years are the foundation and create their future experiences.

ALES partners with parents and teachers in order to create a well-rounded experience for your child’s tutoring support.

taking advantage of home tutoring is extremely beneficial At the primary level, so problems with comprehension are not missed. one on one tutoring allows students to learn at their own pace, from the comfort of their home, without the distraction of a busy classroom.

Meet Marissa

Marissa graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with an AA in Early Childhood Development and a Bachelors in Social- Emotional Development- Interdisciplinary Studies, and has been teaching youth since 2013, currently with the Anchorage School District (ASD). She established Advanced Learning Educational Services in 2020, a tutoring service to aid and assist students with their academic success. Marissa is part of the NAEYC, Thread, and Migrant communities, and is the author of “IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT” — a collection of written experiences, poems and accomplishments to inspire and encourage youth that anything is possible if you believe.
